It was a bad way to start the second half of the year. On the 1st if July, i arrived at work 20minutes late. We took the wrong exit and had to go 40km before we came back to the right route. They day after, i was 30mins early for work. My supervisor was laughing at me instead of scolding.
This week, it was the final week for two interns. So from next week onwards, we'll have less people to joke about and share stories with. Me & Jade are the only girls left in our gang...the balance are boys from engineering.
I let go my hair today to work today and i received alot of comments. The most common one - Elaine looks different when she ties her hair and when she let it go. I actually thought about it one whole night on wether to let go my hair for just one day.
This week, i almost got left behind twice. One was when i was told to switch cars. And when i got out from the car, i did a little twirl and was asked to get back in because they had a change of plans and did not wanna change car. The driver behind must have think i've gone mad!
This morning, before i even entered the car, Mr Kee drove off. He stopped after 10meters and we were laughing like hell. It was so funny that when the other trainees heard wat happened over breakfast, I laughed till i almost cried.
I have pictures of the trainees - my gang of trainees - but i do not have my cable with me. So i shall transfer and upload it once i'm back in Malacca. Neway, MEGA SALE is on! =)

Theme Birthdays
This is an overdue post and i'm so sorry to both Charmain and Daniel. I seriously had no time to actually sit and do a short post on their 21st birthday. So here i am, doing it before i go to bed and catch up on my sleep.
Charmain's birthday had the theme of the 1920's Jazz. I was digging into my closet to find something to wear but at the same time, i was busy with my finals. So i just put on the closest i can find to match the theme. The decorations at her house was so fantastic! She totally put lots of effort into it. Unfortunately, my relatives were down from Penang and i had to join them for dinner. I left early from her birthday party and miss all the fun.
Another theme birthday was the 21st birthday of Daniel Tan. His theme was Black & White - very michael jackson. Me & Jade came back from our internship for his birthday. The food for the night was home-cooked and it was delicious. We didn't hang around long because he had guest from his university, so we as a group went out for a drink at Bali Cafe. It was one of the funniest night where i laughed so hard that i almost cried.
There will be many more birthdays to come as we have just started the 2nd half of 2009 =)

Sight Seeing

I would say that Malacca is a BEAUTIFUL city. I never knew it was so beautiful till i saw it with my own eyes from the top of St. Paul's hill. Me, Jade & Michele took Alain for a tour around the historical city today. It was 10 hours of sight seeing and now i'm half dead.
I look like a tourist today and i bet nobody would even suspect a little that i'm Malaccan. Alain parked his car at a fixed rate parking spot and we walked around Malacca the whole day. The sun was blazing hot and i would say that Malacca is the hottest state.
Anyway, if you're wondering how Alain looks like...you can see the pics but i'm so sorry to say that he hates taking pictures. He takes all the pics without him in it. And there's more pictures in his camera - i'll get from him soon.
Today we visited all the meseums around the Stadhuys and St. Paul's hill. We sat the Taming Sari Keris as well as the River Cruise. We ate a slice of nadeje cake, pork satay and mamak at kota laksamana. We had an hour of pool at Jetty too. The only issue we had the whole day was Alain wanted to pay for everything. It's like war whenever it was time to pay.
Would i go for another sight seeing around Malacca? Yes i would but the weather is killig me. I would love if the day was cloudy. NO rain, just cloudy =)
Kite
I think i must be quite bodoh because i duno wat the hell is Kite Surfing. Alain, my new french friend has a passion for it and wants to try it in Malaysia. I dont even think we have it here, maybe west coast. There's something with him and kites.

When he passed Klebang beach the other day, he was so excited when he say stalls selling kites (layang-layang) and he wanted to buy one and play so badly. So we did it yesterday....no not we, just him while me & jade were just spectators =)! The layang-layang cost him rm30 - freaking expensive!
He got all excited and pump up when he bought the kite but unfortunately, the wind wasn't strong enough to fly the kite. He tried a couple of times, running down the beach until he gave up haha! He was dripping with sweat when he was done because the weather is so humid. I would love to see him do kite surfing but i will never try it...

Transformers 2
Tickets were sold out the whole week and the only available time to watch was at 1am early this morning. I tot it was a crazy time to watch but when i reached the cinema at about 12.30am, the whole place was filled with crazy nut people like us haha! It seems that out of 10 cineplex, 8 were showing transformers. And with so many people there, the air-cond was not cold at all.

I was trying so hard to not fall asleep but i yawned all the way. My french fren actually fell asleep 10 minutes into the show when i woke him up and he too struggled to stay awake. When we finished, Malacca town was still having cars around - how happening!

I'm sure all the guys wanted to see the the very hot Megan Fox. There are rumours now that she's trans-gender hahahaha! Guys will be mad! Anyway, i will admit that she's hot. I love her eyes and lips.

SKF Family Day
The reason why i didn't come home last weekend is because i attended SKF's Family Day. The event was on Father's Day and i had to wake up super early on a Sunday as the event started at 8.30am!

Well the Family Day is more for kids - children of the employees. Everyone was divided into colour houses and i was in Red. The games available were totally for kids...so i gave my coupon away. I became the nanny for the day. I took care of Uncle Kee's son. Uncle Kee is the uncle go i get transport from to work everyday. The company subsidizes his transport so this way, we do not have to pay a single cent.

Uncle Kee's son is 9yrs old and his name is Lyon. He was busy running around, playing games and stuff so i just went after him and took care of him. It was one hot day with about a thousand people there. Worst part, there was the very painful karaoke session and also the very scary clown hahahaha! I just hate clowns but kids were lining up to get balloons - inclusive of Jade

I've started bonding with a few of my colleagues. I now go for lunch in the canteen and mix around. I can say i know 1/4 of the people in SKF hahaha! There's about 300 employees so 1/4 is good. The picture at the bottom is the cutest man hahahaha! He's about 58 yet still funny and healty.

As for the updates,
SKF is currently having a shutdown because of the economic status.
I have a new friend. His name is Alain and he's from France. Very friendly guy but we having a little communication problem because he's not that good in english and he speaks with the french accent while we speak fast with the very infamous malaysian accent hahahaha!
For the past 1 week plus, i had a lot of activities - from buffet dinner to SKF's family day to jaga anak for the Senior Manager hahaha! It has been fun i would say. I do not have my cable, so i will only load pics once i'm back in malacca.

Internship - week 2
Alright time to update haha!
Work is almost the same as the previous week but i'm glad to say i have a little more stuff to do. That means there are times where i sit and read story book and look around trying to be the biggest kepo. My wake up time became later by the day. Week 1 it was 6am and now...it's 6.30am hahahaha!
People at work are friendly and i must say i'm impress with the big boss of SKF. He'a a very people person and every friday, i go lunch with him =)...he paid this week! So paiseh~ On wednesday, me & jade followed a colleague and his wife for a movie. We watched Terminator Salvation.

The movie i must say is very very complicated! After work my mind was half shut and i was so blur. So with the movie being complicated, i was very very blur hahaha! On friday, we followed Arto, a swedish guy working in the engineering department up to KL. So currently i'm blogging from KL after getting a good amount of sleep and shopping.

Everyone is leaving

I'm not too sure when i'll be seeing my sister again. I won't be back for the next two weeks and during that period, my sister will report to her university. She'll be in Kolej Mara Bangi for two years (no idea where is that place) and then 4 years in UK.
So totally gonna miss her. This week i did not even spend enough time with my family cause i had my own plans with my friends. I manage to talk a little to her this morning, while i was half asleep. I think i shall call her everyday or alternate days...to check in on her.
By July, my parents will be all alone in the house. It's all when they did no t have kids all over again haha! I've already given all my hugs and kisses and I Love Her So Much!
Now i better get going and double check everything before jade comes....see ya next weekend!
